Pineapple Wine,

We cannot thank you enough for the amazing music you provided at our reception on August 5th. From the light dinner music to the high energy dance music, everything was a perfect 10! All of our friends and family continue to talk about the fantastic music and the fun we all had that night. We saw people dance that night that we never thought would dance and I know that we rarely left the dance floor.

Working with John before the wedding was a breeze and helped keep this bride relaxed. Your experiences and suggestions definitely helped the night move along at a great pace. Thank you for the suggestion of the Harry Chapin CD during the break, it was a really fun and special time for my dad and us. We will be shouting Pineapple Wine’s name from the roof tops anytime we can and will try to make it out to another performance sometime soon.

Thank you again,

Trey and Alicia Bickett

Dear Members of Pineapple Wine,

I want to thank you sincerely for your performance at my daughter's wedding. Your band is fantastic. Everyone had a great time dancing and/or listening to your music. It was so enjoyable. I had many people ask me about where we found out about you, and they were amazed that we booked you on the internet without even hearing you play.

You truly made my daughter's wedding one that was memorable. Thank you very very much.

Sincerely,

Phyllis Smail

Hi John and the rest of Pineapple Wine!

We feel so badly about not sending this note sooner as it's now 2 months since our wedding in January!

Thank you so much for performing at our reception. All of our family and friends talked about what a great time they had and how much they enjoyed the band... We are very grateful to all of you for that! The music was amazing and we were very glad that you all made it (with knee surgery and work to contend with!) to help make our night very special...

We'll be sending many a recommendation your way and we can't wait to see you live again -- we'll watch the schedule and be there when you least expect us...

Thanks again for a great time!

Dear Pineapple Wine,

Just wanted to thank you guys for the truly fantastic job you did playing at our weddding on September 25th, 2004. You really were amazing and are truly the best band around. I can remember how hard it was to find a good band for my wedding but after listening to you guys the first time I knew you were the real deal. Everyone from the wedding is raving about how wonderful you were and how you really got the crowd going by playing a wide variety of music. Thanks again for everything. I will always recommend you guys. I hope you continue to play at nightclubs on occasion, so I can see you again.

Take Care,

Kathleen McHale

Dear John,

I want to thank you for helping to make Wendy and John's Wedding on July 17, 2004 such a success. Everyone was talking about how fantastic your band was. You were very professional, flexible, and eager to please. You met and exceeded every wish we had. You were a tremendous help in planning the various events of the evening. You were prompt and ready to go as scheduled. You all looked wonderful in your tuxedoes. The band's music and the various soloists were exceptionally great. Your band had a wonderful variety of music to please every one of all ages. The evening could not have gone better. I will recommend you to everyone I know, and will hire you in a minute for our next daughter's wedding if it is in the area.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

I'm sorry i haven't taken the time to thank you properly, but you guys did such a fantastic show at the wedding! It has been the talk of the town. I've heard a lot of people say that was the most fun they've had at a wedding in years. It was certainly fun for us! You somehow included everyone's tastes in the night, not only with your music but with your very interactive style as well. It was a PARTY! I can't thank you enough.

Members of Pineapple Wine:

We would like to thank you heartily for providing such excellent music for our wedding on June 21.

Our guests were full of praise as well. From our oldest to our youngest guests, your appeal was broad and the music enjoyed.

The live music experience gave our reception the feeling of celebration that we really wanted for our reception. It was something that we could have never captured with a DJ. Hiring a band, and specifically Pineapple Wine, was one of the best decisions ever.

Thanks Again,

Dominic and Monika

To the band,

What a fabulous evening. I haven't talked to one guest yet who hasn't mentioned how much fun they had at our wedding, and I believe this is largely due to the great show you put on all night long.

The day after the wedding we popped in the video while we were packing, and I couldn't believe how you kept the dance floor packed for 4 hours straight. It was so much fun to see how many people were out on the dance floor enjoying themselves, you handled the crowd perfectly.

I have already handed out some of your cards, and definitely recommend you to anyone having an event in the Cleveland area.

Thanks again,
Brooke and Matt Scott

John,
Just wanted to let you know everyone had a fantastic time at our wedding reception at Hale Farm on June 29th and one of the main reasons was the music and entertainment provided by your band, Pineapple Wine. The mix of old and new music you played was perfect. And the horns really add that edge. I received compliment after compliment about the band and I just wanted to let you guys know you did a fantastic job. After having you guys play I know there is no comparison between a live band and a DJ. I would recommend Pineapple Wine to anyone looking for live entertainment. Thanks Again.

Dave and I just got back from our Honeymoon and after two weeks everyone is still talking about what a great time they had at the reception, and how good the band was at getting the crowd up and dancing.

Thank you for playing a variety of music, you are great at keeping the momentum of the party going. The number one compliment we received is that they loved hearing a live band at a wedding and that they heard some of their favorite songs. You were even gracious enough to let a few groomsmen test their singing abilities at a Jimmy Buffet song.

We had such a great time at our wedding and we thank you so much for being a part of it and working with me through the craziness of planning.

Pineapple Wine is definitely a class act!

Thank you

John,

Justin and I just want to thank you and the band for doing such a fabulous job at our June 1st wedding. Everyone loved the band, and you definitely played a great variety of music to keep the party going....especially with the bouquet catastrophe. ;)

Thank you for all your professionalism. From the first time we talked to you, we had confidence that Pineapple Wine was a class act. You were extremely thorough and very detail orientated throughout the planning process. It really set our minds at ease with all the craziness of planning a wedding.

It was so great to see everybody up and dancing. A live band can make all the difference in the world, and you guys are fantastic! Beverly has a gorgeous voice!!

Thank you again for making our wedding reception so much fun!

Dear John,

This note is long overdue but better late than never. My husband Jeff and I would like to thank you and your band, Pineapple Wine, for doing such a great job entertaining our guests, at our wedding, at Manakiki Country Club, on June 10th, 2001. We received many compliments about the band and would definitely recommend Pineapple Wine to anyone thinking about having a band play at their wedding. I have already passed along your band's name to a friend of mine whose daughter is planning on getting married next year.

We appreciated your professionalism throughout. We also found Pineapple Wine to be very affordable, when compared with other bands. We definitely feel that we got our money's worth and more. We felt that it was preferable to give you and your band plenty of leeway in terms of your choice of what music to play. Afterall, you are the experts and know what kind of music appeals to a broad range of people. We also felt that it was preferable for you to play music that you played well and enjoyed playing rather than insisting that you play music that was not in your repertoire. We did appreciate the fact that you did not play songs that we really did not want to hear and you did play songs that we especially requested be played.

The guests at our wedding enjoyed the music so much that they started dancing while dinner was being served. They didn't even wait until my husband and I had done our wedding dance. Since our reception was on a Sunday evening many guests had to leave rather early, but I don't believe that there was a time when there weren't several people on the dance floor. My husband isn't much of a dancer but I danced almost non-stop. One of my husband's cousins danced quite a bit and he hasn't danced at a wedding in years. You and your band really appealed to all age groups: both young and old and in-between. The kids, at the wedding, danced until closing time. The greatest thing is that everyone really had fun. That was what was most important to me and my husband: that everyone have a good time.

Thanks again for doing such a great job insuring that we and our guests had such a wonderful time at our wedding. Please feel free to share any of these lengthy comments with the other band members and with prospective clients.

Sincerely,
Ruth Strasburg Weil

Well we're back from Alaska and back to work. Unfortunately. The last three weeks have gone by so very fast, it's hard to believe it's all over.

We just want to thank Pineapple Wine for the wonderful performance you gave for our wedding. We have had so many positive comments about the band and what a great time our guests had dancing and listening to you. We wanted our wedding to be original, first-class and memorable for everyone. Pineapple Wine certainly helped us achieve that goal. Absolutely everyone we talk with comments on what a good time they had. Thank you so very much for helping our wedding day be the beautiful day it was.

To John:

As a bit of a musician myself, I knew right away that I wanted to push for live music at the reception. Karen's bridesmaids had doubts, but she agreed with me, there's just so much more energy in a band than in the DJs that we've seen at receptions. And Pineapple Wine did not disappoint! I had several other musical people mention how impressed they were, and our video has lots of shots of of our family and friends enjoying themselves to a wide variety of music (how could I not polka with my mom at my wedding???) And they were also good sports and let me play a special song with them, that Karen still talks about. Don't have the same "radio station" that everyone else does, book Pineapple Wine and have something totally unique!

"When I told my sister, a sophomore in college, that we were looking at a band for the reception she wasn't too sure about the idea. She didn't think that it would be as entertaining as having a DJ playing the music. I had come across Pineapple Wine's website (by the way, GREAT idea for out-of-town brides), liked what I saw (and heard) and wanted to hear how they sounded in person. I brought my fiancee, my mom and dad, and my disbelieving sister to hear the band at a night spot in Cleveland. It didn't take too long for my sister to get out on the dance floor with my dad! By the end of the night, she was pretty impressed with the quality and the talent of the group and was really looking forward to hearing them at the reception (and so are we!) Great job Pineapple Wine!"

Here is an e-mail sent to us about a wedding on May 27, 2000:

Dear Mr. Lauber and Pineapple Wine --

Thank you for a fantastic wedding reception! Everybody is still commenting on the professionalism and talent of your band. The children in my wedding party had never seen live music before -- they are still talking about how they danced at the wedding all night long. They were all little rag dolls when their parents carried them out. Little Andrew would have danced until three in the morning had he been allowed.

As for me, when you sang Van Morrison, I felt as if he was there singing. Your video does not do you a bit of justice, however. You are at least 1000 times better live than you are in the video -- and the video is very good itself. I can't believe that people even hire DJs when you are out there and ready to rock the house down! (sorry DJ community) My friends who were there asked where we ever found such a good band. They said they will definitely remember your name for future events.

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you guys play somewhere in the future. I hear you have found a new fan in my mother who plans to come see you again at Carrie Cerino's Lounge in August.
